Sometimes we do crazy things, like go for a drive in a blizzard. We love to see how weather conditions change the way things look and the way that we see things. The ice and snow were driving sideways but it was so beautiful to drive mile after mile and savor the scenery. Coming home for a hot cup of coffee as we viewed the images we captured was very nice too.

One way to know that you are traveling in the Midwest, is the ability to see for miles and miles in all directions. The land isn't as flat as most people imagine, except in some places. There are hills and tree lines and poles and power lines and fence lines to break up the view. The openness of this region has its own attraction.
