Grant Park and Buckingham Fountain in Chicago

If you have not explored Chicago, IL, then you are missing out on so much fun! Things to do, places to see, foods to eat, etc. abound in this metropolis.

There is city and parks and water.  There are gardens and architecture, shopping and people watching.  You set the pace and do as much or as little as you want.  You can participate in activity or be the audience.  The choices are endless here.  There is the river that runs through Chicago (it turns green for St. Patrick's Day,) Lake Michigan, great architecture (modern and historic,) parks like this one and so many others.  There are museums and Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium.  There are all of the sports arenas (two baseballs teams!)  Where does one even begin with the shopping and choices of where and what to eat?!  There are trains and cars and buses and boats and air craft.  Don't miss the EL (elevated train that forms The Loop.)

This photo was taken in Grant Park.  So much is in reach of this location and so much going on this location at any given time.  Using my EF24-105mm lens at 47mm, I set my exposure at 1/250 sec;   f/4.5;   ISO 250 for this shot.  I then did some post processing in PhotoShop.
